Amy and Lance Humphrey assumed ownership of Children's Lighthouse of Cedar Park in September 2021 following the retirement of the previous owners.  The parents of three children, two of which attend Children’s Lighthouse, they are passionate about upholding and strengthening the high standards already in place at the Cedar Park location.

As a mother, Amy understands how important selecting and trusting a childcare provider is. She imagines that the reasons why she chose Children’s Lighthouse for her own children are shared by the parents who continue to entrust their children into her care.  As owners, Amy and Lance are looking forward to the opportunity to continue positively impacting the lives of their students, just like their own children were impacted.

Formerly long-time members of the corporate workforce, Amy and Lance are looking forward to a more fulfilling career that aligns with their personal values. They wholeheartedly believe in the Children’s Lighthouse brand promise to create a safe, fun, and happy place that gives children confidence, a sense of comfort today, and a lifelong love of learning, friendship, and community. They look forward to building future learners through the proprietary Lighthouse Pathways approach to learning and to making a difference in the local community as well.

Amy and Lance strongly believe early education is vital in ensuring future success in school and beyond.  They don’t take that responsibility lightly and feel privileged to be a part of each child’s life at such an important age.
