Education is Our Priority

Children's Lighthouse offers high quality care for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We believe in building a solid foundation of early learning by nurturing the intellectual, emotional, social and physical development of each child, helping them reach their full potential in an atmosphere of safety and trust. Our curriculum has been developed and chosen to ensure each child builds the skills to be successful in life.

Technology

Here at Children's Lighthouse we know great teachers are the key to the success of our school. Giving teachers the right tools means they will be doing what they do best, while expanding the possibilities of what they can achieve in the classroom. Preschool and school age classrooms will each be equipped with computers and iPad's for children to use. Age-appropriate educational programs and software will be available for children to use with supervision.

Outdoor Education

At Children's Lighthouse your child will have the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities each day. Whether it's time on one of our age appropriate playgrounds or an exciting and wet trip to our splash pad, they will enjoy building friendships while staying physically active with their classmates. In addition to these areas, our outdoor space is also equipped with a basketball court, four-square pad and other outside activities.

Character Values

At Children's Lighthouse, we believe in the importance of teaching character values, and more importantly, in modeling these values in our interactions with children, families, and one another. Helping children develop life skills such as cooperation, self-discipline, pride in a job well-done, respect, and gratitude is essential.

Our exclusive program of character development is an integral part of each of our programs. By planning targeted activities and modeling desired traits, our children are consistently exposed to positive values.

Safety and Security

Our facility is equipped with a state of the art security system as well as PB&J monitoring, which equips each classroom with multiple cameras. Enrolled families are able to access the cameras to view their child's daily progress and behavior by logging in from any computer or device.
