October 2024: Stone and drywall is complete. Parking lot, playground, and flooring installation begins!
We saw great progress on the construction of our school in October! Our incredible Director, Kathy Wolfe, started with us in October (meet her here). Our contractor is working very hard to finish our school by mid-December. We will start taking enrollment mid-November and we are preparing for an early January 2025 opening.
September 2024: Drywall is substantially complete and the exterior work has started.
Our exterior doors were a bit delayed, which delayed the exterior work. We were finally able to start on the stone towards the end of September and it is beautiful! We have secured our Director; she will start mid-October. Fill out a pre-enrollment form on our website to get first access to enrollment!
August 2024: The cupola goes up, the roof is finished, and the inside is coming to life!
We have seen lots of progress in August. Our playground equipment is in production and we should see the exterior finishes go up during September. We are still on track for construction to be complete early December.
July 2024: Framing complete and ready for shingles
It has been so fun to see the inside of the school take shape this month! The plumbing rough-in is complete and electrical work is up next. The cupola/lighthouse is finished and headed this way! It will be placed on our school within the next week.
The six classrooms on the backside of the school have direct access to a covered porch, the splashpad, and the playground.
June 2024: Trusses and roof decking
The construction crew set the trusses in two days! Watching the crane was a big hit with our kiddos! Some of our plumbing will run through the attic. In preparation for this design, over the next couple weeks a vented nail base will be installed before shingles go on. Our playground and splash pad vendor is collaborating with our general contractor on our beautiful back yard! We will have three separate playground areas, a fun splash pad, and a basketball court.
June 2024: Framing
The school is starting to take shape! We are on track for a winter 2024 opening at this point. To get on our mailing lists, be sure to submit a pre-enrollment form today. Our school will have 12 classrooms and be able to serve up to 196 children ages 6 weeks-12 years (before/after school & summer programs).

April 2024: Groundbreaking Ceremony
The O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce hosted our official Groundbreaking Ceremony on April 19th, 2024! Mayor Bill Hennessy was gracious to attend; he was instrumental to our success as we navigated the O'Fallon Planning & Zoning Commission.

March/April 2024: Site work
The site was cleared and prepared for the foundation.
March 2024: Construction begins
March 13th, 2024 was a special day for our family. Our general contractor, JHooker, moved on the site to start on our school. At this point, we had been working through the planning and due diligence phase for about two years. The estimated construction timeline is about nine months.
